Video tutorial category C:
Vehicles with access via temperature sensor/blower resistor
Step-by-step instructions
- Place drip tray under the condensation drain (➜ Fig. 1).
- Line the footwell in the passenger area with floor protection (➜ Fig. 2).
- Remove the temperature sensor/blower resistor (➜ Fig. 3).
- Guide the probe through the opening to the evaporator (➜ Fig. 4) - if necessary, adjust the probe by carefully bending it.
- Fill the complete 994 contents into the pressure cup gun and connect on the air side.
- Place your thumb on the guide disk (fixing the spraying direction (➜ Fig. 5) and perform the spray test (➜ Fig. 6).ATTENTION: Make sure that the spraying direction is correct and check whether the liquid drains into the collecting tray via the drain.
- Activate the compressed air gun and flush the evaporator with the complete contents of the pressure cup gun by moving the probe back and forth (➜ Fig. 7).
- Spray out the pollen filter box completely with 996 (➜ Fig. 8).
- Reinstall the temperature sensor/blower resistor.
- Remove the cabin filter and remove coarse dirt such as leaves from the ventilation system (➜ Fig. 9).
- Spray out the pollen filter box completely with 996 (➜ Figs. 8 and 10).
- Wipe the pollen filter box completely dry with the microfiber cleaning cloth (➜ Fig. 9 or 11).
- Insert the new cabin air filter (not included in the set) (➜ Fig. 12).
- Fill out mirror tag according to the services and hang it in the cleaned vehicle.

Important notes
- CAUTION: When cleaning high-voltage vehicles (BEV and hybrid), the following points must be observed: Work on high-voltage vehicles may only be carried out by authorized and instructed employees with a certificate of competence (observe national regulations). Before starting work, high-voltage vehicles must be disconnected from the power supply by authorized personnel in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. If this is not done, there is a risk of serious damage to health and damage to the vehicle. Before starting work, high-voltage vehicles must be de-energized by authorized personnel in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Failure to do so may result in serious health hazards and damage to the vehicle!
- WARNING! Protect electronic components located in the cleaning area reliably against moisture!
- CAUTION! Avoid contact of the evaporator fins with the metal probe.
- If necessary, the metal probe can be adjusted by carefully bending it.
- Cleaning with airco well® does not require any rinsing, e.g. with water!
- Lubricate the thread of the pressure cup and the air control piston behind the actuating lever with silicone grease (e.g. TUNAP Human Technologie 907 or MP 107) after each cleaning.
- It is recommended to wear protective equipment (PPE) such as goggles, mask and gloves during use.
