The easiest way - if this is possible - is by removing the pollen filter (see also question 1). Detailed instructions can be found here.

Other ways to access the evaporator include removing the blower motor, removing the blower motor series resistor, or removing the evaporator temperature sensor. Instructions can also be found here.

• Find out where exactly the pollen filter is installed (before or after the blower motor), see also question 1.
• Remove the paneling under the glove box to check the exact location of the components
• Get an "exploded view" of the air conditioning system.
